Sad part in my story

This is a draft of one of my characters dying (Tari)

I lay there. My eyes sting whenever they close. My best friend, Enoona...she looks, helpless yet knowing my fate. Ami, my only family, kneels beside me, hurt beyond words. My wound prevents me from moving...I whisper to Ami...I will miss her, but never forget her...she and Enoona will stay in my heart forever...I look back and think about everything. I love them so much...I did all I could. Enoona is sobbing silently. She never has cried before now...I cannot hold on anymore...they know that too. Ami clutches my hand and screams for me not to die. It's too late. My eyes sting one final time as I close them, a tear falling down my face as I lay still, Ami's screaming and sobbing...Enoona's gentle touch...I will remember them...for the rest...of...eternity...
